Free CAD layout. Call (520) 335-3953." lang: en --- Image: Warehouse racking in a new Vail industrial building (https://tucsonpalletrack.com/assets/hero-location-DSM_BmzI.jpg) Vail, AZ ยท about 20 mi from Tucson # Warehouse Racking in Vail, AZ Warehouse racking in Vail, AZ is mostly first-time fit-outs: tenants moving into new buildings on the southeast side and needing a full layout. Warehouse pallet racks for big-box space and parts storage for aerospace and tech suppliers make up most of the work. Pallet racks get sized to the building and the truck before a single frame is ordered. Call (520) 335-3953: 5203353953 ## Old Vail Commerce Center Pallet Racks Old Vail Commerce Center on E Old Vail Rd is roughly 1.27 million SF, delivered in late 2025, with spaces from about 55,800 SF up. It sits close to the I-10 interchanges at Rita Rd and Kolb Rd. A first fit-out lets us set rows before anything else claims the floor. We place selective pallet racks (https://tucsonpalletrack.com/products/pallet-rack) around the dock pattern, set beam levels to your clear height, and leave room for future rows. A pick module with carton flow rack (https://tucsonpalletrack.com/products/carton-flow-rack) on the lower levels and reserve pallets above keeps both in one footprint. Rita Ranch Commerce Center and the newer flex buildings on Old Vail Rd sit near a large e-commerce fulfillment center and a food-processing plant, which is the kind of demand these layouts serve. ## Parts Storage for Aerospace and Defense Suppliers The UA Tech Park next door has about 6,000 employees across aerospace and defense, IT and finance tenants. Their suppliers store small, high-value parts by the bin and the case, not by the pallet. For that work we specify carton flow, shelving and light-duty selective rack with wire decking. Bins and totes sit at pick height, and heavier crates go on lower beam levels. When those suppliers expand, the same layout extends one bay at a time. ## Vail Crossings and the Port of Tucson Vail Crossings has about 297 acres of industrial land with more than a mile of I-10 frontage, reached from Colossal Cave Rd and Wentworth Rd. The rail-served Port of Tucson is nearby. Experienced installation crews we schedule and manage handle installs here, anchored to the floor. Summer days start early because of the heat. Coming from an older building? Our warehouse relocation service (https://tucsonpalletrack.com/warehouse-relocation) can bring your rack along. ## Warehouse Pallet Racks Sized to the Tenant, Not the Shell A new shell tells you clear height and column spacing. It does not tell you SKU count, turns or how you pick, and those decide the rack type. So we ask how many pallets you ship per day, how many SKUs you carry and what share leaves as cases. A tenant shipping full pallets gets long selective rows; a tenant picking cases gets a module with carton flow at the bottom. Either way you get a CAD drawing showing positions, aisle widths and beam elevations, then an itemized quote. Standard components can ship through our 48-hour quick ship program for standard pallet rack components, and the rest carry a confirmed lead time. If headcount grows faster than the lease, the layout leaves space for another row. ## Warehouse Pallet Racks and Pick Systems Pallet Rack: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/products/pallet-rack Pushback Rack: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/products/pushback-rack Pallet Flow Rack: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/products/pallet-flow-rack Drive-In Rack: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/products/drive-in-rack Cantilever Rack: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/products/cantilever-rack Carton Flow Rack: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/products/carton-flow-rack Warehouse Relocation: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/warehouse-relocation ## Start a Vail Fit-Out Call (520) 335-3953 (5203353953) or use the form. ## First Fit-Out Questions ### Can you match rack we bring from another building? ### What type of rack should a new tenant start with? ### What size pallet rack fits standard pallets? ### How quickly can rack ship? ## Nearby Service Areas Sahuarita: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/service-area/sahuarita Eloy: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/service-area/eloy Rio Rico: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/service-area/rio-rico Coolidge: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/service-area/coolidge Oro Valley: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/service-area/oro-valley Flowing Wells: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/service-area/flowing-wells ## Lay Out Your New Building Free layout.
