Pallet racks for each look nothing alike, so we start with the building, not a catalog. The I-10 corridor between Prince Rd and Miracle Mile is one of the region's most sought-after industrial pockets. Call (520) 335-3953: 5203353953 ## Small-Bay Pallet Racks for Contractors and Auto Parts Older Class C warehouses along Miracle Mile, mostly 1980s builds around 10,000 SF, serve storage, distribution and automotive users. Clear heights are modest and column grids are tight. In those bays, selective pallet racks (https://tucsonpalletrack.com/products/pallet-rack) usually go along the walls with one center row, placed to miss columns and roll-up doors. Auto-parts users often add wire decking and shelf levels for small boxes. Cantilever rack (https://tucsonpalletrack.com/products/cantilever-rack) along a fence line or back wall clears that material off the floor, with arm spacing set to the shortest piece you store. For outdoor runs we plan around monsoon wind and dust from June 15 to September 30. ## Pushback and Pallet Flow at I-10 / Prince Rd 2020 W Prince Rd, at the northeast corner of the I-10 / Prince Rd interchange, is a cross-dock distribution building of about 287,000 SF, built in 1993 and 1996 with an addition in 2023. A building that size can carry real density. Pushback rack (https://tucsonpalletrack.com/products/pushback-rack) stores deep SKUs from one aisle, and a pallet flow rack (https://tucsonpalletrack.com/products/pallet-flow-rack) set between receiving and shipping doors rotates FIFO across the building. ## Keenan Commerce Center and Exchange Place Keenan Commerce Center is a tilt-up warehouse and office park at I-10 and Miracle Mile, and Exchange Place on Prince Rd is a Class B park built in 1983. Both offer small-bay space where every foot matters. Experienced installation crews we schedule and manage do the work, anchored to the floor, with early starts in the summer heat. If you are moving up to a bigger building, see warehouse relocation (https://tucsonpalletrack.com/warehouse-relocation) or nearby South Tucson (https://tucsonpalletrack.com/service-area/south-tucson). ## Fitting Pallet Racks Around Columns and Doors Older small-bay buildings were laid out for floor storage, not rack. Columns land in the middle of would-be rows and roll-up doors take wall space. We measure the column grid, door widths and the lowest truss, then test a few row arrangements on the drawing. Sometimes a single double-sided row down the center beats two wall rows; sometimes the reverse. Beam lengths can be mixed in one row so frames land clear of columns. A 96 in bay next to a 144 in bay is normal in these buildings. At the larger I-10 / Prince Rd building the questions are different: lane depth for pushback, lane count for pallet flow, and how far pallets travel from door to rack. Every job gets a CAD layout and itemized quote. Common teardrop frames and beams may qualify for our 48-hour quick ship program for standard pallet rack components. ## Tire and Auto-Parts Storage Auto users along Miracle Mile store tires, boxed parts and core returns. Tire rack levels and wire decking sit on the same teardrop frames as pallet levels, so one row can carry all three. ## Pallet Racks for Small Bays and Big Boxes Pallet Rack: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/products/pallet-rack Pushback Rack: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/products/pushback-rack Pallet Flow Rack: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/products/pallet-flow-rack Drive-In Rack: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/products/drive-in-rack Cantilever Rack: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/products/cantilever-rack Carton Flow Rack: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/products/carton-flow-rack Warehouse Relocation: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/warehouse-relocation ## Get a Small-Bay Layout Call (520) 335-3953 (5203353953) or use the form. ## Small Building Questions ### Do you install in small suites? ### Can I add on to my existing pallet rack? ### What aisle width do I need in a small bay? ### How much does small-bay rack cost? ## Nearby Service Areas Red Rock: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/service-area/red-rock Green Valley: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/service-area/green-valley Benson: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/service-area/benson Sierra Vista: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/service-area/sierra-vista Florence: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/service-area/florence Amado: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/service-area/amado ## Use Every Foot of a Small Bay Free layout.
